BRASS QUINTETS  The quintets in this series also work as true quartets with only 4 parts being played. However, the added 5th part for Tuba (or String Bass, or Contra Bassoon) is always included with each set of parts and score. Thanksgiving and Christmas titles are here now, but Easter, Patriotic, and the world's favorite hymn titles will be added throughout the year. This music was originally written for friends in the Marine, Air Force, or Army Bands in Washington to use in their churches for concerts and ministries, and for use with their students in their teaching studios. All the quartets include 3-4 different harmonizations of the melodic line, introductions, modulations, and complete endings. The Brass titles are not designed to have periods of rest, since most are 2 1/2 to 4 minutes of playing time. Student players may need to form 2 groups and play antiphonally.

These titles are for Professional, College, High School, and Junior High levels for Church Ministries or Concerts, and for students' Concerts or Competitions.
