This full Orchestra piece has good interest, good orchestral colors and is appreciated by church orchestra directors because it fits the time length preferred for short offertory selections. It also works well on school programs where a shorter piece with some forward motion is needed.
The arrangement is unique in that it actually works as a Brass selection only (with piano). All the other parts are added to the Brass making this work with any number of Woodwind or String players as a part of the instrumentation. Not every part has to be fully covered.
The instrumentation included follows the national standard for church orchestra parts, especially for Alto Sax which covers the same part as F Horn, and Tenor Saxes which cover the parts for Trombone 1 and 2. The following are the parts included in this set.
