These arrangements were created by Bob Walters, former member of the U.S. Air Force Band arranging staff (Ret), and writer for music groups that perform at the White House or at other official Washington functions.
Each arrangement includes unique harmonizations in all sections of the music. Usually each stanza is in a different key, one of which is suitable for singing. All titles include an introduction, interludes, modulations and one or more endings.
The arrangements were written for members of the Marine, Air Force, and Army Bands in Washington for their personal use in churches and schools, and for use in their teaching studios with their students.
All the sound files are complete versions of the music. Although some listening tempos may be brighter, all these titles can be played much slower and meditatively. Most of the brass arrangements do not include rests, but are not lengthy. Two groups playing antiphonally may be useful for students.
When the sections of the music are in matching keys, instrumental ensembles can be created combining the Strings, Woodwinds, and Brass parts. Here are the titles and keys that permit matching instrumental groups.
