Originally written for a faculty soloist and student orchestra at a music camp at Rumney Bible Conference near Plymouth in New Hampshire. The first version of this music was played by Jerry Rodgers (Ret), then the principle clarinet soloist with the Marine Band in Washington, who now creates the orchestra for the Disney World Christmas concerts held 85 times each December.

The arrangement exists for numerous orchestral instruments, and follows the same format and key modulations each time. It would be possible to combine various instruments, or to alternate sections using more than one player for interesting colors – in unisons, or at octaves.
An optional orchestration as accompaniment, (505001ORCH) and choral parts as added colors (505001VOC) are being created for use with any of these solos. The arrangement is in concert Eb, F, and G.
Solos exist for: Flute (FL) – Oboe (OB) – Clarinet (CL) – Bass Clarinet (BC) or Baritone T.C. (BC) – Bassoon (BN) – Alto Sax (AX) – Baritone Sax (AX) – Tenor Sax (TX) - F Horn (HN) – Bb Trumpet (TP) - Trombone (TR) – Violin (VN) – Viola (VA) – Cello (VC)
