The service is held annually by Pastor Amos and Sue Dodge and Capital Church for the 5000 to 6000 people who attend. By miking the Flute and Violin that are added to this arrangement, their parts add additional color. This works very fine in a church setting. We were playing outdoors. The Bill Gaither sound system is driven in from Anderson Indiana each year. A guest artist is always a part of this amazing service (eg Larnell Harris) which has people from the church (size 200+) setting up the thousands of chairs, a huge platform plus risers for a choir as a great labor of love on the part of everyone. Almost every major language of the world can be heard spoken those mornings. And usually the sun can be seen rising over the great Capital Building and the Washington Monument.
