1. This is intentionally designed for students to play in a dramatic style
2. The arrangement helps the student learn to find hand positions.
3. This is ideal for teaching how to move hands in a very quick motion, setting up the size of the hand needed to get to the new spot on the keyboard.
4. Students learn to jump up or down the keyboard. When going from a lower chord to a higher one, the left side of the hand is the focus or sudden stopping point for the hand motion.
5. When going from a higher location to a lower one, the lower part of the hand is the sudden stopping point.
6. Creating the size of the interval needed to play the top and bottom notes of the new position becomes one of the learning devises this study allows the student to discover.

This arrangement was created by Bob Walters, formerly on the arranging staff of the U.S. Air Force Band (Ret) in Washington, and arranger for some military groups that play at the White House.
